1. The contention of the learned Counsel for the petitioner is that allegations against the petitioner are in respect of replacing higher denomination foreign currency notes with lower denomination currency notes to misappropriate an amount of Rs. 6,74,047. It is submitted that such allegations, on the face of it, appear difficult to accept as how would one be able to replace same number of foreign currency notes with lower denomination currency notes.
2. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated; he is prepared to co-operate with the investigation.
3. Issue notice, returnable in six weeks. 4. In the meantime, it is provided that in the event the Petitioner is arrested in connection with FIR No. 15/2
