O R D E R

1. When the SLP(Crl) No. 9868/2019 was listed on 13.10.2025, Shri Tushar Mehta, learned Solicitor General of India requested that this matter be kept for hearing along with Contempt Petition (C) No. 166/2019. Accordingly, both the matters are kept together for hearing today.

2. A perusal of the SLP(Crl) No.9868/2019 would reveal that the same challenges the order passed by the High Court of Calcutta in C.R. M. No.9230 of 2019 dated 01.10.2019.

3. Notice came to be issued in the SLP(Crl) No.9868/2019 on 29.11.2019. A period of almost six years has lapsed from the date on which anticipatory bail was granted to the respondent by the High Court.

4. Admittedly, there is no interim order operating in the present Special Leave Petition.

5. In that view of the matter, we do not find that the present Special Leave Petition deserves to be kept pending. The Special Leave Petition is, therefore, disposed of.

6. In SLP(Crl) No.9868/2019 pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
