O R D E R
2. While issuing notice on 07.04.2025, this Court granted interim order staying the operation of the impugned order. The said interim order is still in operation.
4. Having considered the matter in detail and in view of the fact that election notification was issued on 25.01.2025, which is after the amendment dated 12.12.2024, we are of the opinion that interest of justice would be subserved if we confirm our interim order dated 07.04.2025 and request the High Court to decide the main writ petition expeditiously. Ordered accordingly. We further clarify that our order will not restrict the Election Commission in exercising its statutory duty.
6. With these observations, the Special Leave Petition stands disposed of.
