O R D E R
Signa2ture. Not VerifiedFollowing the order passed in similar circumstances in SLP (C)
11:02:N16 oIST. 13990 of 2024 dated 12.07.2024, we direct as under :-
a) Since no order prejudicial to the interest of the respondent(s) is being passed, the requirement of notice to the respondent(s) is waived.
c) Ms. Ruchira Goel, learned standing counsel for the State of Uttar Pradesh, states that though various attempts have been made by the petitioner herein for moving the Division Bench to consider the application filed on behalf of the State of Uttar Pradesh for stay of the order passed by the learned Single Judge of the High Court but on account of the huge pendency, the application filed by the State of Uttar Pradesh is not being considered by the Division Bench of the High Court.
e) We also request the learned Division Bench of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad to consider the application for stay filed by the State in accordance with law, on its own merit, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three months from today.
g) The special leave petitions are, accordingly, disposed of.
