1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner–wife seeking transfer of the Divorce Petition bearing HMA No.240 of 2025 filed by the respondent-husband titled as "Amimesh Srivastava versus Shubhra Singh" pending before the Additional Judge, Family Court, Roorkee, Uttarakhand to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

2. Despite service, no one has put in appearance on behalf of the sole respondent-husband.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the divorce petition was filed by the respondent-husband after the petitioner had filed a divorce petition bearing HMA No.2879 of 2024 before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

4. Considering the aforesaid fact and also that the respondent has Signature Not Verified not chosen to put in appearance to object against the prayer made in ANITA MALHOTRA Date: 2026.01.08 Reason: the present petition, divorce petition bearing HMA No.240 of 2025 titled "Amimesh Srivastava versus Shubhra Singh" pending before the Additional Judge, Family Court, Roorkee, Uttarakhand is ordered to be transferred to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

6. Records shall be sent promptly by the Court where proceedings are pending to the transferee Court.

7. In case video conferencing facilities are available in the transferee Court, the parties may be permitted to appear through video conferencing on non-effective dates of hearings.

8. Accordingly, the Transfer Petition is allowed.
