The Petitioner-wife has filed this Transfer Petition seeking transfer of the proceedings bearing HMA No.154 of 2024, titled “Gagan Sharma v. Inderjeet Kaur”, pending before the Family Court, Kullu-I, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Patiala, Punjab.

2. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondent-husband submits that the mediation between the parties has failed and the respondent has no objection to the prayer being allowed for transfer of the case from Family Court, Kullu-I, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Patiala, Punjab.

3. Accordingly, the Transfer Petition is allowed and the Signastureu Nobt Vejrifieedct-case is transferred to the Court of competent Digitally signed by SAPNA BISHT Date: 2026.01.07 Reason:

After the matter is transferred to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Patiala, Punjab, the concerned Court will give fresh notice to the parties by fixing a date and the aforesaid matter shall proceed before the said Court from the stage it was before the Family Court, Kullu-I, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.

5. The respondent is at liberty to move an application before the transferee court seeking permission for his presence through virtual mode, which shall be considered, in accordance with law, depending on the infrastructure and facilities available at that Court.

6. The records of the case be transferred to the transferee Court forthwith.

7. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
