The court upheld interim orders pending further hearings, affirming the necessity of judicial consideration before a substantive decision.

Headnote:This appeal arises from the final judgment and order dated 07-11-2023 passed by the High Court of Judicature for Rajasthan at Jodhpur in DBSAW No. 601/2023. The petitioners challenged the interim orders made due to time constraints preventing a proper hearing. The Supreme Court found it necessary to extend the interim order until the next scheduled court date of 12-03-2026. The primary question addressed was whether the current circumstances justified the extension of prior orders pending the hearing. The court concluded that the existing interim orders should continue, given the lack of sufficient time for hearing the merits of the case. The petition for Special Leave to Appeal was thus permitted to remain in effect until the next date.
