ORDER
1. Our Order dated 7-1-2026 reads thus:-
1. We are happy to note that the parties ultimately have been able to arrive at an amicable settlement.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the parties brought to our notice that the wife has agreed to accept a lump-sum amount of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lakh only) towards full and final settlement. So far, Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh only) has been deposited in the account of the wife. The balance amount of Rs.23,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Three Lakh Only) would be paid by the husband to the wife by 31-1-2026.
3. We want the Settlement to be reduced into writing duly signed by the parties.
4. Once the settlement comes on record, we shall proceed to pass further order.
5. Post this matter on 6-2-2026.
2. Today, the Settlement Agreement arrived at between the parties before the Supreme Court Mediation Centre has been placed on record.
3 The Settlement Agreement reads thus:-
