UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following

O R D E R

1. In response to the order passed by this Court on 10th March, 2026, learned counsel for the State submitted that in total there are eight candidates. Three in the Writ Petitions pending before the High Court and five before this Court. The list has been furnished before this Court. The same is as follows:

1. R.Gowthaman

2. P.Jebaraju

3. M.Karthik @ Karthikveerabagu

4. R.Kingslin Caldwel

5. D.Thangapandi

6. K.Pandimurugan

7. S.Marimuthu and

8. K.Gomathi

2. He submitted that he has received instructions to submit before this Court that all the aforesaid eight candidates will be given appointment afresh after the present petitions are disposed of and they will be entitled to all the benefits from the date the appointment is offered. However, he submitted that pendency of the present petitions and also response of the State in terms of the order passed by this Court on 10th March, 2026 could not be informed to the writ petitioners before the High Court so as to enable them also to respond to the aforesaid proposal.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners in Diary No.52786 of 2024, 52785 of 2024 and 55862 of 2025 submitted that the offer made by the State is acceptable to them.

4. As far as Diary No.54358 of 2025 is concerned, the offer made by the State may not be acceptable to the petitioner as he was selected and appointed in the year

2023.

5. Adjourned to 19th March, 2026.

6. In the meantime, learned counsel for the State shall ensure that the three petitioners in the Writ Petitions pending before the High Court are informed of the order passed by this Court and the proposal made by the State.
