O R D E R

1. We have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.

2. Learned counsel for the parties submitted that all the disputes and differences between the parties have been amicably resolved, and the parties have decided to part ways on certain terms and conditions. Accordingly, appropriate and necessary orders may be passed in accordance therewith.

3. Mrs. Rupinder Bedi, authorized representative of the petitioner-Tikka Brijinder Singh Bedi (in CONT. PET. No.878 of 2025), is physically present before this Court and respondent no.1/Jyotsna Bedi (in CONT. PET. No.878 of Signature Not Verified 2025), is present through digital mode; both are duly NAVEEN D Date: 2026.03.11 Reason:

4. We appreciate the efforts put in by Ms. Meenakshi Arora and Ms. Mukta Gupta, learned senior counsel appearing for the respective parties, in helping them arrive at an amicable settlement. The Memorandum of Settlement has been reduced into writing and circulated across the Bar in a pen drive. The same has been read over to the parties, who agree to abide by it.

5. The Memorandum of Settlement reads as under:

“1. Vide Order dated 08.10.2025 passed in SLP (C.) No. 28332 of 2025 titled “Tikka Brijinder Singh Bedi v. Jyotsna Bedi”, the Parties agreed to abide by the Joint Family Agreement dated 07.08.1992 [“JFA”]. However, certain disputes arose between the Parties relating to Property No. 132, Golf Links, New Delhi – 110003 [“Subject Property”], which resulted in contempt proceedings, namely:

a) Contempt Petition filed by Party No. 1 bearing Conmt. Pet. (C) No. 878 of 2025 titled “Tikka Brijinder Singh Bedi v. Jyotsna Bedi & Ors.”.

b) Contempt Petition filed by Party No. 2 bearing Conmt. Pet. (C) No. 24 of 2026 titled “Jyotsna Bedi vs. Tikka Brijinder Singh Bedi & Ors.”. [collectively referred to as the ‘contempt proceedings’]

2. With the intervention of family members and friends, the Parties to the present MoS have mutually agreed to amicably settle their inter-se disputes.

3. In furtherance of the above and in full and final resolution of all claims, rights and disputes, Party No. 2 agrees to:

(i) Relinquish any and all her rights and interest in the Subject Property in favour of Party No. 1; and (ii) Peacefully handover physical and vacant possession of all and any parts of the Second Floor of the Subject Property in the same manner and condition in which possession was taken by Party No. 2 from Party No. 1 on 20.11.2025.

4. In consideration of the matters referred to in sub para 3(i) and 3(ii) above, Party No. 1 agrees to pay a sum of Rs. 4,00,00,000/- (Rupees Four Crores only) to Party No. 2 as full and final settlement of all her claims, monetary or otherwise against the Party No. 1 in the following manner:

1. The aforesaid amount of Rs. 4,00,00,000/- shall be paid by Party No. 1 before the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the ongoing proceedings initiated by the parties against each other, by way of a Post-Dated Cheque bearing No.000317, drawn on Bank at HDFC BANK, which shall be handed over by Party No.1 to Party No.2 through their respective counsels present in Court.

2. Upon encashment of the aforesaid Post-Dated Cheque duly signed by Party No. 1, Party No. 1 shall be at liberty to enter the Second Floor of the Subject Property and take possession thereof and do all ancillary actions thereto, which shall be deemed to have been peacefully handed over by Party No. 2 to Party No. 1.

3. Upon the aforesaid encashment, relinquishment and peaceful handover of possession, the parties agree to put a quietus to the present contempt proceedings against each other.
