The applicant-petitioner(s) has filed the present applications for restoration of the Special Leave Petitions, which were dismissed by this Court on 20.01.2026 and further seeks extension of time to pay the remaining settlement amount to the respondent(s).

2. Today, upon notice, the learned counsel for the respondent(s)

is present.

3. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner(s) submits that he is carrying a demand draft dated 28.01.2026 of Rs.11,80,000/- (Rupees Eleven Lakhs Eighty Thousand) with him drawn in favour of the respondent(s). The same has been handed over to the learned counsel for the respondent(s) in Court.

4. Having regard to the fact that ultimately, the respondent’s grievance of not getting the money from the petitioner stands fulfilled, we extend the time indicated in our order dated

28.10.2025 till today.

5. Accordingly, the applications for restoration are allowed.

6. The Special Leave Petitions are restored to their original file and number. The order dated 20.01.2026 stands recalled.

7. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Applications are disposed of.

8. The Special Leave Petitions be listed on 23.03.2026.

9. In the meantime, there shall be stay of the impugned judgment dated 17.12.2024 passed by the High Court of Orissa at Cuttack in CRLREV No.153 of 2024 and CRLREV No.159 of 2024.
