O R D E R

1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner–wife seeking transfer of divorce petition bearing Case No.639/2025 titled as "Shobhit Khandelwal Versus Prerna Jha" pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Shahjhanpur, Uttar Pradesh to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

2. Though service is complete, no one has put in appearance on behalf of the sole respondent-husband.

3. After hearing the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, in our opinion, a case is made out for transfer of divorce proceedings as the petitioner permanently resides at Jaipur, which is more than 530 Kms. from Shahjhanpur and she is to take care of a minor child born from the wedlock. Even the husband is also not based at Shahjhanpur as he is in service with Tata Consumer Products and now posted at Siliguri, West Bengal.

4. Accordingly, Case No.639/2025 titled as "Shobhit Khandelwal Digitally signed by Nirmala Negi Date: 2026.02.28 Reason:

Versus Prerna Jha" pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Shahjhanpur, Uttar Pradesh is hereby transferred to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

5. Records shall be sent promptly by the Court where proceedings are pending to the transferee Court.

6. In case video conferencing facilities are available in the transferee Court, the parties may be permitted to appear through video conferencing.

7. Accordingly, the Transfer Petition is allowed.
