UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following

O R D E R

1. Having heard the learned counsel Signature Not Verified JAGDISH KUMAR appearing for the petitioner and in view of Date: 2026.02.25 Reason:

the subsequent development, namely, the mother of the petitioner having expired today, we grant petitioner interim bail for a period of fifteen days from today and on completion of fifteen days he shall surrender before the Superintendent, Sabarmati Central Jail, Ahmedabad.

2. It is made clear that in the event of the petitioner being acquitted by the Trial Court since the matter before the trial court is listed for pronouncement of judgment on 26.02.2026, question of surrendering may not arise. However, in the event of petitioner being convicted, the petitioner shall positively surrender to serve the period of sentence imposed on him. 3. It is also made clear that in the event of the petitioner not being present on the date of pronouncement of the judgment on account of the changed circumstances, the pronouncement of sentence may be deferred and the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional court on 11.03.2026.
