1. The 3rd opposite party before the District Commission is the appellant herein.
2. The case of the complainants before the District Commission is that on 31.05.2018, the 1st complainant’s husband Mani had availed a loan of Rs.6,09,728/- from the 3rd opposite party, which is repayable in 119 instalments and the EMI of Rs.12,190/- per month with interest rate. He had also taken insurance policy covering the loan amount with the 4th opposite party. He had also made one time part payment of Rs.2,00,000/- towards his loan amount to the 1st and 2nd opposite parties. In the meanwhile, the said Mani expired on 19.11.2020. The complainants informed the death of the Mani and submitted an application to the 1st and 2nd opposite parties for getting insurance amount from the 4th opposite party, but they did not take any steps.
