For the appellant : Sh.Kushagra Mahajan, Advocate For the respondent : Ex-parte HARINDERPAL SINGH MAHAL, PRESIDING JUDICIAL MEMBER This appeal has been preferred by the appellant/complainant- Surinder Kumar against the order dated 16.08.2022 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Barnala (in short ‘District Commission’) (decided at Camp Court Amritsar) whereby the complaint filed by the complainant under the Consumer Protection Act (in short ‘the Act’)
was dismissed.
It would be apposite to mention that hereinafter the parties will be referred, as have been arrayed before the District Commission.
2. Briefly stated facts of the complaint are that the complainant obtained National Mediclaim Insurance Policies bearing Nos.401900/48/15/8500002545 and 3052 from the opposite party. The premium was paid by the complainant continuously for the period of 15 years and the last premium was paid in March, 2016.
