Common Order in Rivision Petition Nos.88, 89, 90 & 91/2016 Mr. K.B.SANGANNANAVAR : JUDICIAL MEMBER

01. These Revision Petitions filed U/s.17(1)(b) of CPA 1986 by OPs aggrieved by the order dtd.01.09.2016 passed by District Forum, Bengaluru Urban in CC.No.438, 461, 462 & 464/2016 respectively.

02. The Commission heard the learned counsel for the Revision Petitioners. We have gone through the revision papers.

03. Now, we have to examine, whether impugned orders passed by District Forum calls for any interference in exercising the powers vested U/s.17(1)(b) of CPA 1986.

04. These Revision Petitions are filed on the ground that, they received notice on 16.05.2016 and engaged an advocate. Accordingly on 29.06.2016 vakalath was filed by their advocate and the matter was posted for filing of version of OP.3 & 5 by 25.07.2016. On 25.07.2016, since, their advocate could not attend the matter, as he was held up in traffic and by the time reached the forum, matter was already adjourned to 25.08.2016 recording version as not filed and posted the matter for Complainant evidence.
