The aforesaid appeals arise out of the same order dated 04.08.2018 passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Betul (for short ‘District Commission) in C.C. No. 85/2015, therefore, they are taken up together and are being disposed of by this common order.

By the order impugned the complaint filed by the complainant has been allowed against the opposite party no.2-Chief Post Officer, Chhindwada and the opposite party no.3-Jagdish Parihar, Postmaster. The complainant has filed First Appeal No.326/2018 for enhancement of compensation whereas First Appeal Nos. 224/2018 and 693/2018 were filed by the opposite party no.3-Jagdish Parihar and opposite party no.2-Chief Post Officer, Post Office, Chhindwada respectively for setting aside the impugned order.

Facts of the case in short are that the complainant had applied for employment in CRPF and after appearing in different examinations, interview, physical test and medical test he was qualified for recruitment in armed force. It is submitted that the opposite party no.1-Seema Sashastra Bal (SSB) sent first appointment letter dated 01.04.2024, second appointment letter dated 27.05.2024 and third appointment letter dated 13.08.2014 but the opposite party no.3-Jagdish Parihar, postmaster did not deliver the same to the complainant on account of which the opposite party no.1-SSB cancelled his appointment.
