1. Being aggrieved and dissatisfied with the order passed in Consumer Complaint no. CC/09/36 by the Ld. District Consumer Commission Raigad-Alibag on 12/02/2016 the Original Opposite Party nos. 1, 2 & 20 have preferred this Appeal. The parties to this appeal shall be herein after called and referred to as per their status in the original consumer complaint. The facts giving rise to the present appeal can be summarised as under :

2. The Complainant had deposited an amount of Rs.13,95,063/- in fixed deposit with the Opposite Parties. The Opposite Party was Co- operative Bank and was dealing with bank business. The Opposite Party nos. 3 to 19 were directors of Opposite Party no. 1 Bank, but the complaint was dismissed against them. The complaint was allowed against Opposite Party nos. 1, 2 & 20 and they preferred this appeal. The Complainant was depositor of Opposite Party no. 1 and he had deposited amount in the year 2008 on different dates. The said amounts were to be matured in the year 2009. But meanwhile the Opposite Party no 1 went into liquidation. The Opposite Party no 20 was appointed as liquidator. The Complainant has demanded her money from the Opposite Party no. 1 but her req
