This order will govern disposal of all these appeals, under section 41 of the Consumer Protection Act 2019 (hereinafter called “the Act” for short), arising out of three separate impugned orders dated 26.06.2025 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Kabirdham (CG) (hereinafter called “District Commission” for short), whereby the complaints were partly allowed with the following directions: -

1. The opposite party No.2/ appellant herein Nobel Seeds Pvt. Ltd shall pay the complainant/ respondent No.1 a total sum of Rs.10,24,980/- (Ten Lacs Twenty Four Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty) under heads loss of crop @ Rs.1,00,000/- per acre i.e. Rs.7,50,000/-, the expenses incurred in cauliflower farming Rs.2,00,000/- and Rs.74,980/- cost of cauliflower seeds purchased for farming. 2. The opposite party No.1/ respondent No.2 and opposite party No.2/ appellant both shall separately pay Ten-Ten Thousand to the complainant/ respondent No.2 towards physical and mental agony suffered by him. 3. The opposite party No.2/ appellant shall pay the complainant / respondent No.1 Rs.3,000/- towards cost of litigation. 4. It was further directed that in case the above amount is not paid by the opposite party No.2/ appellant within a month, interest @ 6% p.a. shall also be payable from the date of order till realization. |

Ltd shall pay the complainant/ respondent No.1 a total sum of Rs.1,67,960/- (One Lac Sixty Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty) under heads loss of crop @ Rs.1,00,000/- per acre i.e. Rs.1,25,000/-, the expenses incurred in cauliflower farming Rs.30,000/- and Rs.12,960/- cost of cauliflower seeds purchased for farming. 2. The opposite party No.1/ respondent No.2 and opposite party No.2/ appellant both shall separately pay five-five Thousand to the complainant/ respondent No.2 towards physical and mental agony suffered by him. 3. The opposite party No.2/ appellant shall pay the complainant / respondent No.1 Rs.3,000/- towards cost of litigation. 4. It was further directed that in case the above amount is not paid by the opposite party No.2/ appellant within a month, interest @ 6% p.a. shall also be payable from the date of order till realization. |

Ltd shall pay the complainant/ respondent No.1 a total sum of Rs.1,97,740/- (One Lac Ninety Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Forty) under heads loss of crop @ Rs.1,00,000/- per acre i.e. Rs.1,50,000/-, the expenses incurred in cauliflower farming Rs.40,000/- and Rs.7,740/- cost of cauliflower seeds purchased for farming. 2. The opposite party No.1/ respondent No.2 and opposite party No.2/ appellant both shall separately pay Five-Five Thousand to the complainant/ respondent No.2 towards physical and mental agony suffered by him. 3. The opposite party No.2/ appellant shall pay the complainant / respondent No.1 Rs.3,000/- towards cost of litigation. 4. It was further directed that in case the above amount is not paid by the opposite party No.2/ appellant within a month, interest @ 6% p.a. shall also be payable from the date of order till realization. |
