Headnote:The matter involves an appeal before the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission where the parties reached an amicable settlement for a sum of Rs. 1,30,000/-. The primary issue was whether the appeal could be disposed of based on the settlement reached between the parties. The court reasoned that since the parties had jointly prayed for disposal based on the compromise terms and the payment had been executed, the appeal deserved to be decided in light of the agreed terms. this appeal deserves to be decided in the light of terms and conditions stated in compromise dated 12-06-2026, which is decided accordingly.
