ORDER:

Petitioners are seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.48 of 2018 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Mulugu, registered for the offences under Sections 120-B and 420 of IPC .

2. Heard Sri K.Venumadhav, learned counsel for petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.1 and perused the record. None appeared for respondent No.2. nd

The 2 respondent had lodged complaint against the petitioners herein stating that the complainant is Managing Partner of a Firm doing business in extracting laterite mineral and selling it to cement st companies. The 1 petitioner herein was introduced to the complainant’s Company partners and he claimed that he was also in the business of mining and got leasehold rights for mining in an extent of Ac.13-00 Guntas of land in Sy.No.57/2 of Mallampally Village of Mulugu Mandal for the period from 28.12.2002 to
