JUDGMENT:

1. Dissatisfied with the compensation awarded by the learned Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal- cum – Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad (for short, the Tribunal), in O.P.No.2044 of 2012, dated 18.02.2016, the claim petitioners in the said O.P preferred the present Appeal seeking enhancement of compensation.

2. For the sake of convenience, the parties are referred as they were arrayed before the learned Tribunal.

3. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioners, who are the wife, children and mother of Late M.Siva Nagulaiah (hereinafter be referred as ‘the deceased’), filed a petition under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 claiming compensation of Rs.10,00,000/- for the death of the deceased- M.Siva Nagulaiah in a motor vehicle accident that took place on 17.01.2012 at about 7.00 P.M. near Ramabothupally Village, Cherukupally Uppar Colony, Guntur District. It is stated by the petitioners that on 17.01.2012 at about 7.00 P.M., when the deceased was going by walk to his field after having lunch, one Lorry bearing No.AP-27T-7587, which was driven by its driver in a rash and negligent manner, lost control over the vehicle, came from behind and dashed the
