Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for High Education appearing on behalf of respondent No.1, Smt.C.Vani Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.2 & 3 and Sri Ch.Jagannadha Rao, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.4 to 6, and perused the record.

Shorn of unnecessary details, the case of the petitioner in brief is that on taking TS EAMCET examination during the academic year 2023-24, she has initially secured admission into Bio-Medical Engineering stream in BVRIT College, Narsapur, Medak District and took admission by paying fee of Rs.1,35,100/-.

It is the further case of the petitioner that in the second phase of counseling, she had secured admission in Chemical Engineering stream in Osmania University College of Technology Campus, Hyderabad (OUCT) and out of the amount of Rs.1,35,100/- paid while taking admission with BVRIT College, an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- was refunded and a sum of Rs.35,100/- was adjusted towards admission fee in OUCT and petitioner also made additional remittance of Rs.10,000/- on 11-08-2023.
