ORDER:

Heard Mr. G.L. Narasimha Rao, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, Mr. T. Naveen, learned counsel representing Mr. Gadi Praveen Kumar, learned Deputy Solicitor General of I ndia, appearing on behalf of respondent No.1 and learned Standing Counsel for Central Government and the learned Asst. Government Pleader for Revenue appearing on behalf of respondent No.2.

2. The petitioner approached the Court seeking prayer as under:

“.... to issue an appropriate writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declare the action of the respondent No.1 to sanction of the dependents of the Freedom Fighter family pension vide the proceedings No 52/CC/14/2016FFHC Dated 18.09.2023 form 28.02.2022 instead of date of the death of the Freedom fighter/father of the petitioners 1.12.2014 is illegal, bad in law and arbitrary unconstitutional CONSEQUENTLY direct the respondent No.1 to sanction the Freedom Fighter family pension from the date of the death of the original Freedom Fighter Nalabolu Pulla Reddy ie 1.12.2014 to the petitioners by modifying the orders No 52/CC/14/2016FFH
