This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the action of respondent Nos.2 to 4 in freezing his bank accounts bearing Nos.881008235392 (DBS Bank) and 10167842115 (IDFC Bank) as being illegal and arbitrary.

2. Heard Mr. Aashir M Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. G. Aniketh Reddy, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, having received written instructions dated 21.10.2024 from the Assistant Commissioner of Police, EOW Team V, Central Crime Station, Detective Department, Hyderabad, submitted that investigation is being conducted in Crime No.200 of 2024 registered under Sections 403, 406 and 420 read with Section 120(b) of Indian Penal Code 1860 (IPC) and Section 5 of the Telangana Protection of Depositors of Financial Establishments Act, 1999 (TSPDFE). The investigation discloses that petitioner is a victim and Investigating Officer neither freezed the petitioner’s bank accounts nor addressed letters to bank authorities to debit freeze the bank accounts of the petitioner.
