THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE P.SAM KOSHY AND THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE LAXMI NARAYANA ALISHETTY ORDER:(per Hon’ble Sri Justice P.SAM KOSHY The present appeal is filed by the claimants assailing the award, dated 01.02.2005 passed by the IV Additional Chief Judge-

cum-M.V.A.T., C.C.C., Hyderabad, in O.P.No.592 of 2002.

2. The appellants/claimants are wife and two minor children of the deceased viz., late Sri S. Sridhar Reddy. Pending the appeal, the minor children have attained the age of majority.

3. Vide the impugned award, the Tribunal has quantified the compensation at Rs.4,12,884/- with simple interest @ 9% per annum.

4. There is no representation on behalf of the appellants.

5. Considering the fact that this appeal is of the year 2008, we were inclined to proceed further to decide the appeal on merits by taking assistance of the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the insurance company.
