This writ petition is filed seeking to declare action of respondent No.3 in not considering petitioners’ Dharani application Nos.2300139115 and 2300139140, dated 07.09.2023, respectively, for changing the nature of the land in the revenue records from ‘assigned lands’ to ‘patta lands’ in respect of their respective lands i.e., Acs.00-24 guntas in Survey No.599/14/2, Ac.00-24 guntas in Survey No.599/14/5, Ac.00-28 guntas in Survey No.599/2/2 and Acs.03-00 guntas in Survey No.599/AA situated at Fasalwadi Village, Sanga Reddy Mandal and District, as being arbitrary, illegal and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to remove the above said lands from the prohibitory list of properties.

It is stated that the petitioners are the absolute owners and possessors of the aforesaid subject lands having acquired the same from their ancestors, who, in turn, acquired the same from the Government under Rule 9(g) of the Laoni Rules, 1950 by paying valuable sale consideration to the Government and they were issued Laoni Patta certificate in respect of the subject lands.
