Aggrieved by the order dated 21.07.2023 passed in W.P.No.43447 of 2018 by the learned Single Judge, the present writ appeal has been preferred.

2. Heard learned Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for the appellants and Sri A.V.V.S.Bhujanga Rao, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

It is the case of the appellants that all the respondents have retired from service prior to issuance of G.O.Ms.No.235, dated 27.10.1998 and the case of the respondents was that they have retired from service and on the next date of their retirement, they were entitled for increments and the State Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.235, wherein a decision was taken by the State to extend increments in favour of such of those employees who have retired from service and their increments fell due on the next day of their retirement. However, the respondents have retired prior to issuance of G.O.Ms.No.235, dated 27.10.1998. As the respondents have retired prior to issuance of the said G.O., the respondents were not entitle
