Mr. T.Srikanth Reddy, learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents.
2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief:
“…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 5 demanding the petitioner company, though the demand notice dt.05-08-2010 issued by the 5th respondent, to pay an amount of Rs.3,02,513/- along with the compound interest @12% p.a. since 1997-98 and onwards as being the alleged Non-Agricultural land Assessment (NALA) Tax up to the Faslis 1406 and 1407 under the provisions of the A.P. Non-Agricultural Land Assessment Act, 1963, as being arbitrary, illegal, improper, unjust and unenforceable, apart from having been barred by the law of limitation, and consequently quash the demand notice dt.05-08-2010 issued by the 5th respondent and also direct the respondent to refund the amount paid in excess for Faslis 1408 to 1410, and pass such other order or orders…”
