ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed under Sections 480 and 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhitha, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) seeking bail to the petitioner/accused No.2 in Crime No.228 of 2025 on the file of the P.S. Miyapur, Cyberabad Commissionerate, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (C) r/w 22(C) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘NDPS Act’).
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 19.02.2025 at 07:00 hours, Sub-Inspector received credible information about a woman in possession of MDMA at Miyapur Bus Stop. After informing his superior and following due procedure under the NDPS Act, a team was assembled including mediators, staff, and Clues team. At around 09:00 hours, a woman matching the description was identified and detained. She was identified as petitioner.
