ORDER

As these writ petitions are connected, they are taken up together and are being disposed by this common order.

W.P.No.34378 of 2023 is filed seeking to declare the action of respondents 2 and 3 in altering the approved layout IDA Patancheru-II and constructing a compound wall across the petitioners land admeasuring Ac.5-00 guntas situated in Survey No.833 and Ac.1-00 guntas in (part of Ac.25-16 guntas (plot No.3)) situated Survey No.838 of Patancheru village and mandal, Sangareddy District, without any sanctioned permissions under the provisions of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955, and Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 2008, as illegal and arbitrary and violative of Articles 14, 19 and 300-A of the Constitution of India.

W.P.No.1001 of 2024 is filed seeking to declare the action of respondents 2 and 3 in altering the approved layout IDA Patancheru-II and constructing a compound wall across the petitioners land admeasuring Ac.2-20 guntas, situated in Survey No.833/part and Ac.0-20 guntas, situated in Survey No.838/part of IDA Phase-II, Patancheru village and mandal, Sangareddy District, without any sanctioned permissions from the respondent local authority under the provisions of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955, and Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 2008, as illegal, arbitrary, and violative of Articles 14, 19, and 300-A of the Constitution of India.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, and the learned Government Pleader for Industries and Commerce.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that at the time of filing of the writ petitions, the respondent authorities have interfered with their possession, however, subsequent to filing of the writ petitions, the respondents are not interfering with their possession in any manner and have not initiated any action to proceed with the construction of compound wall.

Therefore, the cause in the writ petitions no longer survives.

Learned Government Pleader for Industries and Commerce does not dispute the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners.

Accordingly, the writ petitions are closed, granting liberty to the petitioners to avail the remedies as available in law if cause of action arises in future. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
