This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Crime No.342 of 2025 on the file of Maheshwaram Police Station, Rachakonda, registered for the offence under Section 118 (1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita , 2023 (for short, ‘ BNS ’).

2. Heard Sri Mohammad Naseer Pasha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that respondent No.2-de facto complainant is the father of petitioner herein and that due to family disputes, the present complaint is lodged with an evil motive and that the petitioner has never beaten the de facto complainant and that there is no truth in the allegations.
