O R D E R :

With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is

taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the

Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:

“…to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more

particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not considering the petitioner for selection to any of the Group-III posts mentioned in Notification No.29/2022 dated 30.12.2022 though he is within the zone of selection under General/ BC-A category with General Rank of 561

with Hall ticket No.2296412029 on the ground that petitioner obtained B.Com Degree from Acharya Nagarjuna University through distance mode during the years 2017-2019 as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory and in violation of Articles 14 & 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to select and appoint the petitioner to the post he is entitled as per his merit rank with all consequential benefits of seniority and pay and pass…”

Heard Sri M.V.Rama Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Pleader for Services-I for respondent No.1; learned Government Pleader for Services-II for respondent No.2; and Sri P.S.Rajashekar, learned Standing Counsel for Telangana State Public Service Commission, for respondent No.3.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the lis raised in the present Writ Petition has already been adjudicated by this Court in W.P. No.25837, 25531 and 24496 of 2024, which was disposed of vide order dated 12.12.2025, and thus prayed to pass similar order in the present Writ Petition also.

5. The above made submission is not seriously disputed by the other side.

6. Having regard to the above made submissions and for the reasons alike in the order dated 12.12.2025 passed by this Court in W.P. No.25837, 25531 and 24496 of 2024, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for appointment to any of the Group-III post, in pursuance of Notification No.29/2022 dated 30.12.2022, purely based on his merit, as was done in the cases of appointment/promotions of similarly situated candidates, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (08)

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
