ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of
India seeking the following relief:
“…to issue a writ or order more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No.2 in not releasing the Petitioners vehicle DCM bearing Registration No.TSO4UA 1395 seized in Cr.No.69 of 2017 inspite of her readiness to furnish the third party surety as being illegal arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the Respondent No 2 to release the vehicle to pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court
may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case ….”
2. None appeared for the petitioner.
3. Heard Mr.R.Laxmikanth Reddy, learned Assistant Government
Pleader for Home appearing for respondents No.1 and 2.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that petitioner’s vehicle which was seized in Crime No.69 of 2017 bearing No.TS04UA 1395 is released on 07.06.2017, thus the cause does not
survive.
5. Having regard to the development and the petitioner’s contention that his vehicle was not released by the authority has been effectively addressed, the cause does not survive for further
adjudication. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
