JUDGMENT

The Criminal appeal is filed by the appellant-

complainant questioning the Judgment dated 08.02.2024 in Crl.A.No.41 of 2022 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Adilabad. By the impugned judgment, the lower appellate Court acquitted the accused setting aside the judgment dated 12.10.2022 passed in C.C. No. 71 of 2015 by the learned Special Judicial Magistrate of First Class Mobile (PCR), Adilabad, wherein the trial Court sentenced the accused to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of six (06) months for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the NI Act and also directed to pay compensation of Rs.2,43,500/-, in default, to undergo

simple imprisonment for a period of thirty (30) days.

2. Heard Sri Akshanth Sanghi, learned counsel for the appellant-complainant and Sri M.Vivekananda Reddy, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respondent- State and perused the record. Inspite service of notice, none

appeared on behalf of respondent No.2-Accused.
