ORDER :

This Writ Petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the

respondents in not considering the case of the petitioner for appointment in any suitable post under displaced person quotas per G.O.Ms.No.98 Irrigation (Project Wing) Department dated 15.4.1986

as arbitrary and illegal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for the respondents.

With their consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondent No.4 on 18.12.2025, requesting for appointment in any suitable post under displaced persons quota, but however, so far no action has been taken by the respondent No.4. Therefore, petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court to direct the respondent No.4 to pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 18.12.2025 within a stipulated period of time.

4. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents fairly submits that the respondent No.4 will consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner on 18.12.2025, in accordance with law.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and without going into merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.4 to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 18.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
