This Writ Petition is filed with the following relief:

“…to issue appropriate Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the impugned Notice issued by the 2nd Respondent in No.LandO/A3/81/2013 dated 17-01-2018, demanding a sum of Rs.16.45,857/- towards outstanding dues to the aid Respondent, Films Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India as on 31-03-2007 due by the Petitioner Theatre as illegal, null, void, arbitrary and without jurisdiction and consequently set aside the same and

2. Heard Mr.K.Durga Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner

and Mr.D.Pradeep, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been filed being aggrieved by the notice dated 17.01.2018 issued by the licensing authority / respondent No.2,

seeking recovery of arrears payable to the Films Division, without there bein
