ORDER:
Heard Sri Ch.Ravinder, learned counsel for the petitioner
and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Transport appearing for the respondents. With their consent, this Writ
Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed the present Writ Petition seeking to declare the action of respondent No.2 in refusing to accept the payment of tax for the petitioner’s vehicle bearing No.TS-07-UF-0677 for the payment of tax and penalty for previous quarters, as arbitrary and
illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to accept the payment of tax for the present quarter by granting sufficient time to pay the outstanding tax for the previous quarters.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is unable to pay the outstanding amount as no benefits have yet been received for the earlier pending quarters, accordingly, learned counsel requested that sufficient time be granted to pay the defaulted tax along with penalty.

On the other hand, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Transport, basing on the written instructions in Lr.No.Nil/C6/HS/2025 dated 06.12.2025, addressed by the Regional Transport Officer, RTA, Hyderabad, South Zone, submits that the petitioner has defaulted on payment of tax along with penalty amounting to Rs.73,920/- for the two quarters ending 30.09.2025 and 31.12.2025. If the petitioner clears the said outstanding amount, the respondent authorities will accept the 5. In view of the submissions made on both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to accept the subject to condition that the petitioner shall furnish an undertaking to the respondent authorities to pay the tax along with penalty for the quarter from 01.07.2025 to 30.09.2025 amounting to Rs.36,960/- on or before 31.01.2026, and the tax along with penalty for the quarter from 01.10.2025 to 31.12.2025 amounting to Rs.36,960/- on or before 28.02.2026.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
