This Criminal Petition has been filed seeking to quash the

proceedings in C.C.No.9964 of 2023, pending on the file of XVI Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, at Nampally, Hyderabad, wherein the petitioner was arrayed as accused No.2 for the offences punishable under Sections 279, 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short ‘IPC’) and Section 177 of Motor Vehicle

Act (for short ‘MV Act’).

2. Heard Mr. Khaja Arajuddin, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Jithendar Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1.
