O R D E R :
With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:
“…to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus by declaring that the Petitioner is entitled to have his claim considered and be treated as senior to Respondents 4 to 6 in the Surveyor category and have his name placed at Serial No.3 in the seniority list of Surveyors communicated vide Progs.No.12/2302/2024 dated 28-07-2025 issued by the 2nd Respondent duly holding the action of the 2nd Respondent in rejecting Petitioner’s objections to the placement in the provisional seniority list and placing his name below that of Respondents 4 to 6, as being arbitrary, illegal, contrary to provisions of Rules 33 and 36 of the TS State & Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 and in violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and set-aside the same accordingly, and to pass…”
