447 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, ‘BNSS’) by the petitioner who is the defacto

complainant, seeking to transfer the case in S.C. No.8 of 2023 on the file of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Mulugu to Principal District & Sessions Judge, Hanamkonda.

2. Heard Sri Challa Srinivas Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Arun Kumar Doddla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.1–State.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a native of Hanamkonda and that the witnesses also belong to Hanamkonda.
