This appeal, under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, is directed against the award dated 09.07.2018 passed in M.V.O.P.No.38 of 2016 by the learned Chairman, Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal-cum- Judge, Family Court-cum-VII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Medak at Sangareddy (for short “the Tribunal”), whereby the Tribunal awarded compensation of Rs.9,91,000/- together with interest @ 7.5% per annum in favour of the claimants, who are respondent Nos.1 to 4 herein, being the wife, children and mother of the deceased Vennavaram Rajashekar Reddy, who died in a motor vehicle accident.
