Heard Mr. C.H. Jayakrishna, learned counsel for the petitioners;

and Mr. G. Madhusudhan Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC); and perused the material on record.

2. The petitioners applied for building permission and permission

was granted by respondent No.3 - Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) for construction of ground + two upper floors vide

Sanga Reddy District. It is stated that the petitioners constructed two additional floors and a pent house over the sanctioned structure. On completion of the subject building, the petitioners submitted application dated 12.11.2025 to respondent No.3 for regularisation of the subject building under Sections 455-A and 455-AA of the GHMC Act 1955. However, there is interference by the officials of respondent No.3 threatening to demolish the subject building. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Learned Standing Counsel for GHMC submitted that application dated 12.11.2025 of the petitioner for regularisation of the subject building will be considered and orders will be passed in accordance with law. 4. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Standing Counsel for GHMC, the writ petition is disposed of, at the admission stage itself, directing respondent No.3 to consider the petitioners’ application dated 12.11.2025 for regularisation of the subject building within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending consideration of such application for regualrisation, status quo obtaining as on today shall be maintained in respect of the subject building bearing Municipal Nos.17-3-69 and 17-3-70 situated at Bandlaguda District. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in the writ petition stand closed.
