ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR No.2324 of 2025 on the file of Gachibowli Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences under Sections 69 and 89 of BNS.
2. Heard Sri Mohd. Abdul Rasheed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri E. Ganesh, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the respondent No.1-State.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner and the de facto complainant were in consensual relationship and that the petitioner never made any promise of marriage to attract the offences under Section 69 of BNS. He further submitted that the WhatsApp messages exchanged between the petitioner and the de facto complainant would elicit the consensual relationship between the parties. Thus, the allegations levelled against the petitioner are false and that both of them got separated in the month of April 2025, but the de facto complainant has filed the present complaint with all false allegations just to harass the petitioner. He, therefore, prayed to quash the proceedings against the petitioner.
