ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.121 of 2025 on the file of Jukkal Police Station, Kamareddy District, registered for the offences under Sections 351(1), 352, 353 of BNS and Section 3(i)(s)(r) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities)

Act (for short ‘SC/ST Act’).

2. Heard Sri T. Srujan Kumar Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Jithender Rao Veeramalla, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent No.1-State.

3. The case of the prosecution is that on 25.10.2025, the accused has released a video and circulated and made it viral in social media, in which he used violent and abusive language against an MLA and stated that he would ensure that the MLA does not complete his term and otherwise intimidated him and also said that he would end his life and his public position before the term ends and that the said MLA belongs to SC community. The said video was circulated on WhatsApp, YouTube and other social media platforms.
