ORDER

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused No.6 seeking to quash the proceedings against him in Charge Sheet No.1022 of 2021 on the file of learned Principal Junior Civil Judge- cum-VIII Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Kukatpally, registered for the offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(A) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (for short, ‘NDPS Act’).

2. Heard Sri A. Ravinder Reddy, learned Senior Counsel representing Sri Sumair Naser, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. S. Madhavi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1-State.

Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and is falsely implicated in the present case just based on the confession of the co-accused and that no Ganja is seized from the possession of the petitioner herein. He further submitted that there are no specific allegations of either consumption or seizure against the petitioner herein.
