ORDER

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3. With their consent, this writ petition is being taken up for disposal.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:

“…to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, directing Respondent No.3 to immediately register F.I.R based on the Petitioner’s complaint dated 11.10.2025 (Acknowledgment No.CYB/CHERR/111025/01055) and to conduct a fair and expeditious investigation into the matter in accordance with law and seeking a consequential direction to respondent No.2 to supervise the registration and investigation to ensure compliance…”

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, F.I.R has been registered on 14.10.2025 pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dated 11.10.2025 and a copy of the F.I.R dated 14.10.2025 is annexed to the copy of written instructions submitted by Sub-Inspector of Police, Chevella Police Station and the same is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In that view of the matter, since the F.I.R dated 14.10.2025 has been registered pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner dated 11.10.2025, this writ petition is disposed of with consent directing the respondent authorities to follow due procedure as contemplated under law for further course of action.

5. With these observations, writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
