ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed with the following relief:
“…to issue a writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondent No.2 herein not registering the crime based on the complaint filed by the petitioner herein dated- 09.08.2016 and filed a final report without even conducting effective enquiry as illegal and against the law and pass...…”
2. Heard Mr.V.Raghunath, learned senior counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Srinivas, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, pursuant to the representation dated 09.08.2016, the respondent police authorities have failed to register a crime/FIR. Accordingly, the learned counsel prays for issuance of an appropriate direction to the Superintendent of Police or the competent officer concerned to ensure registration of the case.
