ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“…issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No. 7 to 10 arresting the petitioners is illegal, arbitrary and voilative of Article 21 and 22 of the Constitution of India, consequently direct the respondent No.11 (CBI) to investigate and file final report or this Honble Court may be pleased to appoint an investigating officer, direct him / her to file the final report, and pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice.”
2. Heard Mr.K.Anthony Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.M.Srinivas, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 6.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the cause in this Writ petition does not survive for adjudication and seeks to dismiss this Writ Petition as infructuous.
4. Recording the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
