ORDER:

Heard Sri Srinivasa Rao Madiraju, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Education, appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 4 and Sri Venkatreddy Thipparthi, learned Standing Counsel for Kakatiya University appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.2 and 3.

2. The petitioners approached the Court seeking prayer as under:

“…pleased to issue a writ order or direction especially one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring that:-

a) the orders issued in No.1011/SDLCE/KU/2023, dated 04.10.2023 of the 2nd Respondent rejecting the case of the Petitioners for extending Revised Pay Scales 2020 as illegal and arbitrary and violative of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of Constitution of India.

b) and further declare that, the Petitioners are entitled for benefit of extension of Revised Pay Scales 2020 in pursuance of their appointment orders dated 09.12.2013 and in pursuance of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.1943, dated 07.10.1991, with all consequential arrears and pass....”
